Terms And Conditions 

• INTRODUCTION - The following are the terms and conditions of service representing the basis upon which driving lessons and courses are offered to you, the Trainee, by your local driving instructor. Please note that the contract for service is between you, the Trainee and your Instructor. All Instructors operate their own businesses 
• GENERAL CONDUCT - All Instructors are bound by a professional code of conduct and will be courteous, polite, tidy and punctual. They will also always behave in a professional and ethical manner, and will try to avoid any physical contact, with the exception of course, of any emergency or in the normal course of greeting. The tuition vehicle will be fitted with dual controls as part of the standard equipment and will be well maintained, clean and tidy. The cars will of course be fully insured for driving tuition. Instructors or trainees will not smoke in the car at any time, nor will they use the lesson time for any other form of personal use.
• DRIVING LICENCE & EYESIGHT - Trainees’ MUST be in possession of a current, valid driving license (provisional or full), which must be produced on, or in advance of the first lesson. Trainees’ must also ensure that they are able to read a vehicle registration plate, in good daylight and at a minimum distance of 20.5 meters (67 feet or about 5 car lengths) with glasses or contact lenses if normally worn.
• TUITION PERIODS - Appointments will normally be a minimum of 1 hour in total and on a one-to-one basis you can have this increased to 2 hours with prior request.
• QUALIFICATIONS - As a minimum all Instructors will be licensed by the (DSA) Driving Standards Agency to give driving tuition. Some Instructors may have achieved higher qualifications such as the ‘Diploma in Driving Instruction’ or comparable. 
• PAYMENTS - All payments for tuition should be made at least 24 hours prior of the lesson   bank details are below and given on the text message sent out 48 hours before your lesson, if your doing block bookings then payment in full is required for the amount of lessons you want to book as a block, all block bookings must be used within a 6 month period. There is a no refund policy in place after 14 days of purchase due to lessons allocated to you once payment is made on blocks.
• Courses.

        There are few courses available, prices depend on the course you want to take, more details available on request, there is a small            deposit required on these and the remaining payment is required 14 days before the course starts.

• CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS - All cancellations must be made direct to the instructor and MUST be made at least 24 hours in advance. If this is not possible the full training fee for the period in question may, at the sole discretion of the instructor, be forfeited or charged. Instructors reserve the right to cancel lessons if they feel that the weather or road conditions are unsuitable or dangerous. Instructors will therefore hold the money and make suitable arrangements for another lesson with that money paid previously.
• PUNCTUALITY & NON-ATTENDANCE - Trainees are respectfully advised to be punctual for their appointments which will be recorded and checked by their instructor. Where practically possible, Instructors will wait and depart after a maximum of 15 minutes, then the lesson will be terminated and the full fee in respect of that appointment may be forfeited or charged. A reciprocal waiting time may become necessary by the Trainee if their instructor is delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances. Any lesson time lost as a result of this will normally be made up by Instructors either at the end of the normal lesson time or later.
• DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - To ensure the safety of you, your instructor and other road users your instructor reserves the right to cancel any lesson if you are, or if they suspect you are, under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Should this occur the full training fee for the appointment will be forfeited or charged? We reserve the right to refuse future tuition in these circumstances. 
• THE PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST a) Bookings - Driving tests must be booked by the Trainee. Driving test bookings always take priority over other lessons and therefore, lessons may be postponed allowing for someone else’s driving test and vice-versa. Changes to lesson bookings as a result of this will be notified immediately. All test appointments be notified to your instructor as soon as they are known (before booking); otherwise, they cannot guarantee to provide a vehicle for the practical driving test. Instructors cannot be held responsible for driving tests which have been double-booked. b) Use of the vehicle - In the interests of customer and public safety Instructors reserve the right to withhold the use of a car for the test if, in their opinion, the Trainees’ driving is actually or potentially dangerous. c) Test cancellations - Three clear working days’ notice of cancellation or postponement is required by the DSA. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of your test fee. Instructors cannot be held responsible for any postponement or cancellation of tests by you or the DSA. However, they will do all that is possible to arrange another test as quickly as possible and to help you to reclaim expenses from the DSA
• IT IS HEREBY expressly agreed that this agreement is made solely between Angel School of Motoring, as principal, and the Trainee and that no contractual relationship exists between (Angela Jones) and the Trainee. In making any bookings or supplying any information or documentation to the Trainee, Angel School of Motoring acts solely as the agent for the instructor. Accordingly, the Trainee acknowledges that Angel School of Motoring accepts no responsibility whatsoever for jewelry, clothing, cash or any other property which may have been left in the school vehicles. However, if any valuables are found, they will be returned to the appropriate owner.
